How this site makes money

How reviews are researched
Every review states, explicitly, whether it is based on hands-on testing or on the vendor’s own published information — the two are never presented as the same thing. Details on the research and publishing process are in our editorial policy, and how ratings are scored is in our scoring methodology. Independence
This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or reviewed at the request of any vendor it covers, and does not impersonate or visually imitate any product it writes about.
How we keep this updated
Every page shows the date it was published and the date it was last updated. When a vendor changes pricing, features, or policies in a way that affects a published claim, we revisit that review rather than leaving it stale, and a rating (once one exists) is reassessed rather than carried forward automatically — see our scoring methodology. There’s no fixed re-review schedule yet; at this size, re-verification happens when we’re notified of a change, when we revisit a page to expand it, or when a reader reports something outdated through our corrections policy.
Where this site is right now
This is a new, small publication, not a large editorial staff. Coverage currently starts with one review, TubeMagic, which is published with verified vendor information while hands-on testing is still in progress — the review itself states this plainly. Comparisons and “best of” guides publish once enough individual reviews exist to compare fairly, which isn’t the case yet. We’d rather show that honestly than pad the site with coverage that hasn’t been researched.
